Trailer makers rarely maintain specs on items like propane fittings so I could not look up the OEM propane items installed on your Palomino Shetland. But based on your photo I think the connector shown is a female 1"-20 #600 fitting. Also, a 35-year-old camper may have had another owner at some point and changes to the propane set-up might have been made.

The Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59013 will work as a replacement on your 1973 StarCraft pop-up camper so long as your setup requires a regulator with a 1/4-inch female NPT connector inlet and a 3/8-inch female NPT connector outlet. Our best option for a Propane Gas Detector is the RV Safe RV Propane Detector which is available in black # RS44FR and in white # RS64FR. I was not able to find any information or references for the part number CL0380651 that you provided, but the RV Safe detector is basically a universal replacement. From what I've read, the 20 and 30 lb tanks are the same diameter, around 12 inches, but different heights. According to Camco, the # CAM40549 replacement propane tank cover lid will work on either the # CAM40539 or the # CAM40523 covers, which will accommodate either 20 or 30 gallon tank. I suggest that you replace with the Propane Hose with Back Check - Type 1 x 1/4" Male NPT, # 37207-30855. This hose will connect your tank with the Type 1 connector and have a 1/4 Inch - Male NPT on the other for your regulator side connection. I recommend using the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR for your application as it's the best fit as far as dimensions and specs go. This uses both gas and electric for operation so you'll need to get your propane leak fixed (which you'd want to do anyways). Unfortunately I don't know of any pure electric water heaters for an RV so if you want to use a water heater you need to fix that leak.

Based on the pictures you've provided it looks like a 3/8" female swivel fitting on both ends of the hose with straight male fitting and male elbow fitting so you'd need something like the MB Sturgis Propane Hose - 3/8" Female Flare Swivel x 3/8" Female Flare Swivel - 10' # MBS84FR.
